was quite shocked when i saw her original nails. but you know me, i love a challenge. :)

she left me to design for her, just telling me that she loved hello kitty and girly designs. :)

and boy... these are the smallest nails i EVER worked with. lets not alk about bitten nails but... her nail bed is teennyyy tiny!

so... i extended them with sculptured acrylic!

Nail makeover journey~

this is the journey of a nailmakeover for a nailbiter~~~

the first time:

these are acrylic extensions; they are not fake tips that are stuck onto your nails and then painted. these are sculpted on your natural nail, so they look as natural as possible. and because there is not much nail bed to 'hold on to' the extensions, they do not last as long as the normal extensions (3-4 weeks).

she came back in 2 weeks, and her nails are starting to grow!

so we did another round of sculptured acrylic extensions

its been about 2 weeks and she told me that everything is still intact. can't wait for her next session, and we can begin to play with nail art! :D

because her nails are badly bitten/peeled, this is the maximum length i can go for the extensions~

for those who dont understand extensions, these are not fake nails or fake tips that is stuck onto your nails. the acrylic is applied directly onto your nail while it is in its liquid state, and hardens into the extensions. interesting eh? :) 

for such nails, only acrylic extensions can be applied.
