i think this might just be the proudest work i've come up with so far.

i mean, the design just came to me from nowhere. okay okay, with a little planning in my little head of course. but i so love how it turned out!!!!! i hope you love this too!

Airbrush Joy.

on Hua's nails~~~~ i love how the glitter colour turned out! i totally didn't do any photoshop or anything to make the 'stardust' effect on the black tips! amazing yeah? love love love the glitter colours from EZflow!

ok, this is sorta inspired from Nailmax. i said sort of because i only took inspiration of the colours!

i do so much love my glitter colours~ they're so sheeeeennnnyyyyyy. and really versatile too. will upload my colour chart for glitter colours soon!

saw this design meant for toes in Nailmax and thought i'd recreate it for fingernails

i know summer is over and everything, but heck. a girl could always do with some happy colours yeah?

inspired by a design in nailmax....

makes me think of summer in Hungary with all the blooming sunflower fields! and i love love love the base colour (Sea Foam) from my gelish collection (of over 70!)

:D

so i learnt dry marbling and i thought again, i'd modify the colours of a design i saw in Nailmax.

marbling done with gelish neon colours~~~!!!!! so happy yeah?

design; modified from Nailmax! it's incredibly hard to create pastels with airbrush! but anyhow, these are the first set i've created with airbrush since i completed the advance airbrush course! look out for more designs~~~ i'll be doing a set of airbrush every week (i hope!!!)

saw a very similiar design in a nailart book, and decided to put what i learnt in school to use! i love love love love love these. took me some time to complete, but it's well worth the effort!

had yet more nailart lessons for freehand, and these are my first tries in class! i think i did quite a good job? *coughs*

on my girlfriend, Jesslyn's nails. :) fimo teddy bear and flowers embedded inside the extensions, with some crystals to complete the cutesy look! :D

so i had marbling lessons today, and this is done by the water marbling technique. it will be quite messy to be done on real nails with the cleaning and all, but i reckon that the effort is well worth it. look at this set! just so pretty! i would absolutely love to have these on my nails. :)

we did also learn dry marbling, which is the more common one nowadays, done with gel. those are pretty cool too. i'll probably do a few sets with polish and post them up soon! :)

LV Fall 2011 inspired. i do love fall... the leather and the fur and the black. well except for the cold weather! heh~!

so my friend Carol came over to be my guinea pig. :) and this is her first time doing acrylic extensions.

i think i did a pretty good job at it. hehe! but she had naturally clean cuticles. how awesome is that?!!

mayb i can start doing some glitter extensions customers already? haha~~!!!

Miu Miu Fall 2011 inspired nails. :) i thought i'd stop doing youtube tutorials for ideas and move on to other stuff for inspiration...

baby steps, people, baby steps. :) i hope you like 'em!

and between now and then, till i see you again, i'll be loving you.

love,
Q

this is my first attempt, from my own creativity at a design i've not seen anywhere else or inspired by anything. i hope u like it. :D

also, u can't see here, but the polish is actually hot pink! boo!

so i'm done with acrylics classes, and then i tried to do a glitter extension on myself with a teddy bear inlay. :) inlays mean that the object is embedded inside the nail itself! it's really not easy because 1, the bear has to be thinly sliced. 2, i have extremely small nails to work with. 3, still control the shape of the extension so it looks more natural. :)
*cough* erm.... pirated winnie the pooh? lol... i will work harder, i promise! love the scenery though... don't you? :D

i thought its time i tried to replicate designs from nail magazines. :)
